A man has sadly lost his life in a tragic car accident. Meanwhile, three other people suffered injuries in the car crash, which took place in Tennessee. The accident, which involved three cars, took place along Interstate 40 early in the morning on a Tuesday.
The accident took place at about 7:30 a.m. Police said a pickup was carrying a travel trailer and collided with a larger pickup truck and a small car. No one was injured in the smaller pickup truck, which did not sustain damage. However, one person from the car was injured and taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Meanwhile, the man who was driving the larger pickup truck died in this motor vehicle. A child and woman from the truck were taken to a medical center with injuries. It was not immediately known how serious the injuries were for the three individuals taken to the hospital. Authorities continued to investigate the cause of the collision.
A police investigation may reveal that one of the three drivers caused the accident due to negligent driving. If the driver of the smaller truck or car is found to have caused the crash, then they may face personal injury claims filed by the injured parties. In addition, they may face a wrongful death claim filed by the loved ones of the larger truck’s driver.
