Memphis Attorney Jeff Rosenblum Named Fellow of Memphis Bar Foundation

In October, the Memphis Bar Foundation held its Annual Fellows Reception. At the event, the MBF donated the largest amount in its history by dispersing a total of $43,832 among the following organizations and programs:

  • CASA of Memphis & Shelby County Inc. for their volunteer recruitment and training program;
  • Community Legal Center for their Immigrant Justice Program;
  • Exchange Club Family Center for their Safe Exchange/Supervised Visitation Program;
  • Mediation and Restitution/Reconciliation Services (M.A.R.R.S.) for their juvenile mediation program;
  • Memphis Area Legal Services to expand their pro bono and legal clinic outreach;
  • Memphis Bar Association Diversity Committee for the Summer Law Intern Program; and
  • National Civil Rights Museum for their efforts to renovate and enhance the museum.

Also at the event, the Benjamin L. Hooks Award was presented to retired Judge H.T. Lockard. The Irvin Bogatin Social Justice Award was presented to C. Grace Whiting, a third year law student at the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law who currently serves as president of the Public Action Law Society at the school, and the Bogatin Scholarship was presented to law student Christopher D. Santirojprapai.

Twenty-two new Fellows of the MBF were inducted at the event. The members of the 2010 Fellows class are Ray Babaoglu; Buddy Bernstein, Christopher Campbell, C.C. Drayton, Steve Farese, Richard Glassman, J. Houston Gordon, Dorsey Hopson, Linda Mathis, Mary Jo Miller, Steve Mulroy, Larry Nance, Amy Pepke, Jackie Prester, Jeff Rosenblum, Clint Saxton, Delaine Smith, Allan Wade, James Warner, Maurice Wexler, Hon. Cary Woods, and Joe Lee Wyatt.
