Shannon concentrates her practice of law in the areas of criminal defense, catastrophic injury, and medical malpractice, with particular focus on assisting the Mid-South Hispanic community. She previously worked for a criminal defense firm that represented an almost strictly Latino clientele. (¡Sí, ella habla español!) After graduating from law school, Shannon quickly earned a reputation as a dedicated attorney willing to fight for her clients.
During law school, Shannon clerked for a small law firm, then clerked for the Honorable Robert L. Childers in Shelby County Circuit Court. In addition, she served as an editor for the Tennessee Journal of Practice and Procedure, and competed with the school’s National Moot Court Team, which placed second in the nation. She was also chosen as a student member of the Leo Bearman, Sr. American Inn of Court chapter.
Shannon is a member of the Memphis Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. When she’s not hard at work, you might find Shannon spending time with her family, playing with her dog, or cheering at a Memphis Tigers basketball game.
