Amy S. Hickerson graduated cum laude from law school and finished in the top 14% of her class. During law school, Amy was on the Law Review, serving as a staff member and associate editor. Amy was also active in moot court and mock trial competitions and served as a bar governor for the Student Bar Association. Additionally, Amy worked as a law clerk at various law firms in Memphis. Upon graduating from law school, Amy was recognized as a Who’s Who Among American Law Students.
After graduation from law school, Amy practiced law in the areas of medical malpractice and personal injury. Amy was also privileged to work as a Judicial Law Clerk for Magistrate Judge Diane K. Vescovo of the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.
In addition to practicing law, Amy works as an adjunct professor of legal writing and research for the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. Amy is also a provisional member of the Junior League of Memphis. Amy enjoys taking her dog to the park and on walks and cheering for both the University of Tennessee Volunteers and the Tennessee Titans.
