Law Firm Expands with New Attorney Amy Hickerson

Memphis, TN — The Law Firm of Rosenblum & Reisman is expanding by bringing on attorney, Amy Hickerson, as part of their legal team.  Amy brings with her experience in the areas of medical malpractice and personal injury. She has represented plaintiffs in various types of litigation including personal injury, nursing home negligence, legal malpractice, and medical malpractice. She was also privileged to work as a Judicial Law Clerk for Magistrate Judge Diane K. Vescovo of the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.

Amy received her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina.

Amy S. Hickerson graduated cum laude from law school and finished in the top 14% of her class. During law school, Amy was on the Law Review, serving as a staff member and associate editor.   Upon graduating from law school, Amy was recognized as a Who’s Who Among American Law Students.

In addition to practicing law, Amy works as an adjunct professor of legal writing and research for the University of Memphis’ Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. Balancing out her professional career with a healthy personal life, Amy is a provisional member of the Junior League of Memphis.  She spends quality time with her dog while always cheering for both the University of Tennessee Volunteers and the Tennessee Titans.

The Rosenblum and Reisman firm was established 11 years ago when Marc Reisman and Jeff Rosenblum decided to combine their growing practices and expand their resources for pursuing complex legal cases.  Since then, the firm has become known for high profile civil rights cases and has also won some of the largest recent medical malpractice verdicts in the state including an $8.5 million verdict for an East Tennessee man.
